    Are these two motor parts compatible?

    Can someone please help I need to know if the bottom leg from a 65ESL73R is compatible with a 65ESL72S?
    Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

    No, they are not! The 1972 is a Hydro Electric Shift unit..... The 1973 is a Mechanical Shift Assist type unit.
