15 hp johnson, hard to start
I just acquired a 15 HP Johnson, model # J15RCDE, it is very hard to start when the motor is cold. I had it in the water yesterday, after about 30 minutes I got it started. After letting it warm up it seemed to only run about half throttle, would not even plane the boat. It's a 14' flat bottom. I have replaced plugs and was told crab had been rebuilt not long ago. I was thinking that maybe the fuel pump might be the problem, but I didn't think the pump the bulb while running it. Any advise would be great. Thanks in advance.
