71 Johnson 25 hp clutch dog

My 25 hp Johnson keeps jumping out of gear at high speeds. Can the clutch dog be reversed. It is worn on the forward side but has very little wear on the reverse side.

i have a 73 25hp i had the same thing happening and i reversed the clutch dog and it cured my problem.
