fuel pump replacement
I have a 1989 40hp (j40elcec) with VRO. From all I have read I'm pretty sure the fuel pump is failing. They no longer make the repair kit available so I think I will go with a non-VRO pump and mix the fuel from here on out. Could someone give me a recommended fuel pump to use and the procedure for replacement. I know I saw it on here some months back when I started my trouble shooting but I cannot find it now. Thanks.
