working on evinrude m/3706c sn/e07783. on a parts break down looking at the top if block their are two grooves but noting to seal that area. the oil slinger is mounted on crankshaft. my question is dose the slinger seal that area to stop compression from leaking past. unable to get engine to start. and i do have good spark and have replace points and condsers.
