1990 70hp VRO Johnson

In neutral engine winds up fine, but can't get it to plane out it just boggs out. Thought of many things: Fuel filter, fuel pump, vro pump, carb problem, timing?? I don't know where to start? Runs like a top in neutral. Gas and plugs are good. Had it for 7 yrs and has never done this before. Help!!

Try pushing the choke in, if that clears it up than its your high speed jets. same thing happen to mine

I did try that, it made it worse.

All right, boat fixed. Needed a new Power Pack, it was only running on two cylinders. Also had the VRO disengaged to prevent the possibility of future problems. I will mix my own gas, thank you very much!!
