Starting problems

Hi,

I own Johnson 50 Hp BJ50PLSSM, I cannot start my engine until I put in cylinders little petrol, after that engine starts without any problem, even I try after couple hours engine start without problem. I try to clean carb with carb cleaner spray when motor was working trough air intake but every morning same problem cannot start and again I putting petrol direct in cylinders, one day I was going again to clean with carb cleaner spray and I take out Intake manifold and I try to start and on my wondering he start without any problem.
But still problem is same cannot start my engine if I not put petrol direct in cylinders
