200 90 hp engine miss

2000 90 hp johnson (J90PLSSE)

Ran in canada 7 days ran great, noticed once in a while at high speed engine miss for split second,then ran fine.
after a few day it began to happen more often,last day any rpm over idle engine spuddered,no confidence it would bring me back on a trip

Facts:
used canada fuel all week,2 to 3 complete fill ups
stalled engine at dock at idle, prop hit bottom stalled engine,engine started and ran fine,days before issue started
checked for loose connections,bolts,etc
checked gas and oil bulb, both solid
changes spark plugs, no change

at home did a compression test with all plugs removed,strong 120 all cyl
checked TDC setting pointer to 0 and piston was TDC.



testing in the driveway will consist of water ears attached and if need be the lower half of the engine can be put in a trass can full of water fo exhaust back pressure.
