Question 2001 Johnson 70 hp
No power to # 3 coil. Power pack ? Also engine will not start until the stator wire are diconnected from engine. I need help with this.

You did what I did with mine. Knowing that the source of power for the coil is the power pack, that would be the first place I'd look too.

You probably did what you ultimately had to do... take it to the shop.
