Stator 135hp Johnson 1975

Have lost all spark to plugs and told stator requires replacing, looking at the manual it also talks about a charging coil, of which does not show up as a part in manual. Any-one have any advice?

Also some advice on charging system as manual says some V4's can not have a sealed battery. Is this correct for 1975 135hp motor?

The charge coils are part of the stator assembly. Your best option is to use a regular marine starting battery.
