Johnson 150 Fast strike help

Hi, I am a new member and am having a problem with my 1992 Johnson 150 Fast Strike. At WOT it sometimes feels like half the cylinders stop firing, I stop, turn the motor off and start it back up and it runs great again for awhile then does the same thing. I get no alarm. Someone suggested it may be the shift interrupt switch. I looked on a schematic and can't find anything called a shift interupt switch. Anyone have any suggestions?

It sounds like the powerpack is beginning to go bad. Unfortunately there are no accurate tests for the power pack. Only all the other ignition components.
