side mount remote control box

hi, i have a 40 hp jhonson outboard motor with a omc remote control box.
recently the shift gear broke a thooth and i have been searching for a replacement, but as i see in the exploded view that the part no.2 and 29 are obsolete...
i really need a new shift lever assy and a new shift and throtle plate assy, plus the bushings and the neutral start switch.
my problem is that i cant find the shift lever and the shift and throtle plate assy. (parts no 2 and 29 in the following diagram)

i would really appreciate a piece of advice to find a replacement part for the two.
if not, is there another side mounted control box i could use instead of the model i'm having?

If the part number is obsolete, that cannot be obtained. The only option is to replace the control box. You can call 877-408-1499 X230 they will help you get the correct part number as well as place the order for you.

fact is im located in romania witch is pretty far from usa.
Can you advise witch new control box i could order?
Calling might be out of the question as i would not want to pay for the call more than i would pay for the part itself.
