stainless steel tilt tube

hi all. I am trying to obtain a replacement tilt tube for my 1980 johnson 140TLCSA out board. the original part number for a mild steel tilt tube is 0321052.
I found a part number for a stainless steel item and i''d like to know if the two items are interchangeable. the stainless steel item is part number is 0335553.
if this item is no good, can anyone suggest a suitable stainless steel replacement made by OMC so that i can order it from Boats.net

They are not interchangable, the 0335553 is for power trim and tilt, while your model is manual. Unfortunately there are no detailed information regarding the two different parts to tell exactly what changes were made.
