Default Tell Tale or Pee indicator
1990, 40hp Johnson. Is it possible to see water flow from the water pump while cranking the motor or while at a short idle?

Yes there is an overboard indicator on the starboard side rear of the lower cowling. However it may take a bit before it starts to pee.
