115 hp johnson carb info needed

have a johnson model number 115ETL78C I odered a rbuild kit part number 439076 I thought this kit superceded my kit but the core plugs fall loose they drop out when I went to rentsall them after cleaning carb the new ones are domed with a copper color finish my old ones are silver and flat any info would be helpful

The plugs are like welch plugs you have to tap on dome to spread plug out to fit tight on hole.
