Default motor stops after 1/2 hour

7 1/2 1971 johnson with new gas line from old tank to motor. It cuts out after 1/2 hr. and gas bulb has lost it's pressure. After pumping up again motor starts fine. Could there be an air leak where I put on new clamps?

Could be an air leak, could also be a bad fuel pump.

Can also be a bad primer bulb - especially if it is an aftermarket gray colored primer bulb. Replace with genuine oem part.

You may be getting air lock in the tank..... open the gas cap up ...and see if you are creating vaccuum in the tank.... I was on the lake w/ my 25 HP and couldn't get it restarted and it was just simply too much vacuum pressure built up in the tank so it wouldnt draw any more fuel.
