Default Rectifier/Regulator change

I recently order a Rectifier/Regulator for my 1986 200hp Johnson outboard. I order a 583266 and recieved 583689 as a replacement. I talked to Boats.net Tech dept and was told the 583689 is a "should work". Problem the one I am taking off (583266)has 5 wires and the 583689 only has 4 wires. Does anyone know how to hook up the replacement?

if it is the purple wire, alot of the aftermarket ones come without them such as quicksilver and sierra

Thanks, I will look to see if I can tell which wire was omitted(this may difficult because I had a complete melt down of all wiring and am trying to put it back together one wire at a time. I need to tear it back down as I did not want to leave things hanging until I had something to look at or for.
Thanks again
