1983 Johnson 15hp magneto and flywheel

I have a 1983 Johnson 15hp j15rcta that has been sitting for a couple years. So Im going to replace the magneto. The question I have is, is their a spec for the spacing between the magneto and flywheel. Also what can I do to keep the flywheel from corroding and how to clean the existing corrosion. Thanks

There is no adjustment for the stator to the flywheel. T9 anit-corrosion spray is what we use.
