Default 1972 40hp carb

Hi All,
just joined your forum and need some help please.
I've been given a 1972 Johnson 40 (40RL72E) and it seems to be fine apart from some carb/choke linkages missing from the port side of the engine.
I have a Clymer manual but it isn't graphic enough, nor or the parts schematics of our hosts.
Does anyone have any pics?
Many thanks,
Steve

Sorry, should have said it's manual, not electric!

Hi and thanks,
The more I look at that schematic the more I think it should have an electric choke, there are mountings for the solenoid present.
Strange no fittings for electric start or a rectifier though.
Anyway, runs great after new coils from your site so thanks again.
Regards,
Steve
