will controls from 1976 70 hp Johnson work for a 1976 85 hp v4 Johnson?

I am purchasing a 1976 85 hp v4 without controls and I am wondering if a set of controls from a 1976 70 hp 3 cylinder will work?

control box and cables are universal with in Johnson/Evinrude. So yes, they should work.
