Last year the outboard was repaired, cleaned and running. This spring when putting in the pontoon the outboard stopped taking the pontoon to the dock. The outboard only ran a few 100 yards.

At the dock the outboard flywheel would not turn. I got the flywheel to turn but broke the bolt I placed in flywheel hole. Mistake; I tried starting the outboard and the bolt piece fall into the inside.

I pulled the flywheel. I saw that the throttle pin had broken. The sensor assembly had been rubbed open and the charge coil assembly had a wire broken from the bolt piece.

I got new parts. But now when I start the outboard there is a rattle under the motor area and stalls when put into gear.

I have this fall checked the lower gear shaft and see not problems.

It sound like you may have bad bearings in the motor. This would cause the motor to seize or run very poorly while making much noise. I recommend taking to an authorized dealer for proper diagnose.
