Default Johnson 200 oceanpro smokeing

My 200 hp 2001 smokes bad I checked all the fuel lines for leaks.bypast tank run fresh gal of gas with oil mixed with the oil side of the vro plugged and it still smokes bad . I took the vro apart and every thing is fine. Im thinking it a firing problem all the plugs are the same(wet looking) and compression is ok.
anybody have any Ideas? thanks

Are you using Johnson oil? Does it run ok other than excessive smoke?

I found out today that the hose that comes from the fuel side of the vro and goes to the crankcase pulse vacum has fuel in it . Does that mean it has a bad diphram and fuel should not be in that hose? and should it be rebilt to stop the smoking.
thanks if anybody knows.

When it spits back that is a sign of lean running, it sounds you do have a problem with fuel pump and probably need a new one.
