Hi all. Sorry to join and just start asking questions right off the bat but could use some knowledge. So I have a 1999 johnson 115 that is a good motor but i have the opportunity to trade for a 1999 175. Can you tell me if the controls and harness are the same or will i have to change these out? It would seem to me that they should inter change. I do not have both engines here to look at both to see if this is possible. Also can anyone tell me a good place to look online for new or used controls and harness. for one of these motors? Thanks

Yes if they are both 1999 then the controls and wire harness will work.
