idle issue

new member-- my 1993 johnson 50 hp has a problem, it will start fine and run for a short time at idle speed, then dies. it does not appear to load up, it will restart and run then dies. rpm can be increased and it will not die. primer bulb is solid, carbs have been rebuilt, new v.r.o. and coil. any ideas ?

Check compression to make sure cylinders are even. May be an air leak on intake manifold or crankcase seals, check reed plate gaskets.
