I have a 2000 j90 and am having trouble higher speeds after the engine is warm. I have ruled out the vro fuel pump, but was wondering if it could be the coil getting hot?
It could be an ignition problem or fuel problem. Might try cleaning carbs and running on a portable gas tank(6 gallon) connected engine fuel filter to eliminate fuel delivery system in boat.
