Default tilt/trim issue 94 Javelin, 94 Johnson 200

Does the key have to have power for the trim to work? I have no power at the ign sw.
I either have a broken wire or a blown fuse, I think. I can jump from the battery to the ign sw and it will turn over. Only tried for 2 seconds did not want to burn the impeller up. ( if someone hasn't already, it has been on the hoist for 3 years).
Is the schematic the same for 87 and up for power trim with 2 relays?
Where would the tie point or E1a connection be on the engine?
With 1 relay in can I jump the other from pin 87 to 30 (with a 30 amp fuse inline) to raise or lower the out drive (depending on which relay is in)to get it home. Standing on the boat hoist is getting to be a pain, not to mention the possibility of losing something.

Thanks,

Rick

If have no power at key switch then nothing will work, check fuse on engine to see if blown. Don't try jumping trim relay's could damage them. You can remove the trim motor wires from trim relays and connect motor wires to a battery to trim it.
