72 johnson 50 hp getting hot

I am going crazy NEED HELP PLEASE! my motor is getting hot! I have done absolutly all checks i think is possible and by the book. I have replaced EVERY PART of the cooling system. from the water tube grommet down to the moon key that holds the impeller in place. I have had the lower unit on and off atleast 20 times. any suggestions?

Do a compression test to see if head gasket is blown, did you replace water pump?

I checked the compression it was 125psi on both cylinders, then I took the head off just to check to see if any ports were clogged, I did put a new head gasket back on, but have yet to check the compression.
