no power under load...j25tklec, 1998, 25hp, 3cyl.
starts, idles great! With muffs on, out of the water seems to run/increase rpm's fine. In the water, engine does not get up and go like it used too.
Motor sat unused for a couple years while growing the family. Now we had it tuned up, supposedly running fine, but little power/speed under load. Had another place look at it, and said the bottom coil was bad or the power pack. I replaced the bottom coil, no better. Have the power pack on order now.
Any help/insight would be greatly aprreciated. Motor has had little use since I bought it new in 1998.
I am pretty capable with a test meter, made some of the diagnostic tools myself. Bought the SELOC manual. Have worked on and diagnosed hot tubs for years, not so familiar with internal combustion. Thank inadvance. DS
