Ignition problem

My 1999 50 hp Johnson is only running on one cylinder. THe other cylinder kicks in after the boat runs for a while. I have replaced the power pack, the ignition coil, the spark plugs, and the compression is good. What should I try next?

took it to a mechanic he said to change the stator so I did, but im still having the same problem and now I've racked up $500 in parts. Can anyone please help? what should I do next?

The only thing you haven't changed is the trigger coils under the flywheel.
