1989 175 hp 2 stroke flywheel
Hello i am new to the forum and im in need of any advice please. The flywheel of my 1989 175 hp flywheel recently broke my question is can i replace the flywheel with a newer year flywheel or does the flywheel need to be replaced with the same year. Thank you in advance!

I am sorry Boats.net but your wrong if it is an 1989 it will have 175STL_ _ _ in the serial number flywheel for that engine is 1986 to 1990 VRO motors 1991 and up are eagle motors with different ign and flywheel no timer base and ois ignition the later models had GL OR EL in serial number those flywheels will not workComment
