    2000 115hp-no tach after starter change

    I just replaced my starter in my 2000 Johnson 115. I started it up and now my tach doesn't work. The 4 lights come on when I turn the key for the starting sequence but the tach needle doesn't move. Did I hook up something wrong in the starter wiring or solenoid? Or is this just unrelated

    Check to see if pinched a wire or unplugged a wire.

      Thanks, I am going to look it over again today. There was a lot of wires I took off and my new starter came in a week later...this was about the time my memory became alittle short! Lol
