sorry I did not mean the water pump I meant the tilt and trim.I have a 2003 Johnson 60 hp 4 stroke, I took the tilt apart to work on it and when I did I found that the gear was sticking in the pump assembly and when I took it apart some parts fell out, (springs and balls) I need a diagram to put this back together, or a link where I can find one, can anyone please send men one or help with any info on this, it should be pretty simple but then again it's my luck for some thing like this to happen. it's the pump assembly right above the electric motor. Thanks for any help.

Water pump is on drive shaft on top of gearcase and no springs or balls in water pump, not sure what you have apart.

      water pump

inside the pump assembly there is a plate with several bolts in it, I took it apart and the springs and parts came out, what I really need is a diagram of the pump assembly so that I can figure out where these parts go back. the plate on the inside has two different type of screws on it. if you look at the part number 13 on the electrical trim and tilt. that is the part that I took apart.

You will need to get a service manual for that, parts catalog wont show where all the parts go.
