I have a 225 Johnson Outboard. It will start to turn over then sounds like the battery is dying. Where do I start to fix this? I've made sure all connections are good. I also tried different batteries. Thanks for any help.

Load test battery, load test battery cables to engine, may be a bad starter. -
Hello, I had a similar problem on my 2000 225 Johnson when I 1st got her. Mine did the same thing and thought it was battery, starter, possibly relay. But mine was a slice in the + cable that corroded and was falling apart. Replaced it and it was turning over like it was on a mission! Good luck and report back what your problem was so it can help someone going through it.
