1986 110 Running Ruff at certain RPMs
I have a 1986 110 HP and it seems to breakup slightly at 3900 and WOT 4900 rpms but just doesn't seem to totally clears out at either one of these RPM ranges. (Like its not on all 4 cylinders) Motor should turn 5500 but 4900-5000 is WOT Max. I believe I could get to 53-5400 if it cleared out completely. Had the carb rebuilt and I run non eth gas. My Mech checked comp and the spark and says it looks good. Could the Power pak or coils be breaking down after they heat up ? Hate to just start replacing parts randomly. Motor runs great otherwise so I hate to give up and replace. Anyone had any similar experience's ?
