I am trying to remove the lower unit on my motor and everything I read and see tells me I have to disconnect the shift rod first. However, I cannot find where it comes up from the lower unit to disconnect it. I have taken the lower cowlings loose and looked high and low, under the lower carbs. Hopefully some one has an idea. Help.
