I wonder if some one could help me with checking / adjusting the timing on my motor. I think that may be part of my issue. Idles rough and missing, sneezing at idle, dieing.
In my latest investigation attempt, I was checking the resistance on the timer base. My best info says 40 ohms, +- 10. I only had a reading on one pair, an it was 75 ohms. I guess my question now would be, how can the engine run with a bad timer base? Any help will be appreciated.
