My venom 225 will run great at first then once it's warmed up it doesn't want to get out of the hole and get on plane. Let me explain, I can take it out and tear to my first spot, fish for a while, when I get ready to leave and gun it the motor will sputter and die. It will do it several times before finally I can nurse it on plane. It is only doing it while under load, in neutral it will rev just fine and when loading and the prop is trimmed up a lot it revs just fine just not under load. Any ideas as to what it could be?

Sorry for the different messages, but I am new to this forum. I have exact same problem on both of my '97 twin 225 ocean pros. Once warmed up, will flood out and die on take off. Found if push fuel primer solenoid, it will some times pick back up ........ what was your fix?Comment

my 99 is doing the same thing. I can't figure it out and its driving me nuts! would it have to do with a heat sensor not letting me go wide open till it cools? I'm not sure if the motor is smart enough to do that..Comment
