Hi hope someone can help me I brought a boat off an old couple whom did not use it much , I am having problems with over heating a have had a full service done on it oh sorry it's a 60hp Johnson out board ! It is OK when it is running when it is in dry dock with the muffs on but when I seam to take it on the water I can go about 8 knots but when I put the revs up it goes for about 10 min but then the alarm goes off and there is steam coming out of the tell tell ! I have taken it to a mechanic but he could not get the bolts off to look in side the engine as they were corroded I have been told to run some vinegar through it but if you could give me anymore tips on what to do would be most appreciated
