I need help to determine what trigged and to clear ECU S.L.O.W. system on a Johnson 40hp mfg date 5/2000 Serial #GO4884125 Model J40PLSIG. System check,self test OK . 4 LEDS light,horn sounds,4 LEDS go off. Engine starts fine ,no LEDS lit no horn sounding,water pump stream strong,but engine will not rev over 2400 rpm.Engine not appearing too hot,or have hot smell.Oil tank is full,filter is clean,engine exhaust smells of oil being mixed with gas&normal visible oil smoke.The only LED &horn warning to ever go on in recent history was Lo OIL, oil refilled,LED went out, but S.L.O.W. stayed.Any &all help will be appreciated.
