Hi my name is Toby and new to the forum. Own a 1997 johnson 115 v-4 oceanrunner, had it about a year and has been a great motor. Started having some low end fuel issues- sluggish out of the hole, cutting out on idle, and bogging down when running it up on the trailer. At the suggestion of my local shop where I purchased the motor I backed out the fuel mixture screws about a turn to enrich it. That did help quite a bit but it still not quite rite. I was wondering what the process is to adjust each carburetor individually so the mixture is correct for each cylinder. Any help would be appreciated, tight lines.

Your motor has four different carbs with adjustable linkage. It also has adjustments for syncronizing ignition advance with throttle advance. Either get a factory shop manual and read the section on "Sync And Link", or take it to a good mechanic and let him sync and link it. Those are great motors; I have a '98.
