1986 Johnson gt 200

Recently purchased a 86 Johnson gt 200 that has been sitting for a while now, Trying to get the tilt and trim to work but when I hit the switch on the throttle its just clicks. I tried jumping the switch and the hydraulic motor just clicks. Any opinions on how to fix this problem?

It is either going to be the solenoids or the motor itself. If it goes one way, but not the other (up or down), it is probably the motor. You can verify this by jumping past the solenoids. Don't waste your money on an aftermarket motor. They cost less, but most don't last long at all.
