Hello. I recently had to pull the head off my johnson 25hp ( j25rlsrr) and install a heli coil due to a stripped spark plug hole. Does anyone know what the right ft/lb spec is for the head bolts on this engine?
216 to 240 inch/pounds. Tighten in three steps (example:120/180/240), in spiral pattern, moving outward in circles from inmost screws between cylinders.
