I have a 1998 Johnson 150 which is pouring 2 cycle oil from the carbs and the lower carbs are the worst. What is causing this problem?

my 250 does the same thing,was told its probably check valve for vent.my tank holds pressure during hot weather. -
That may be the problem. Yesterday I talked to a boat mechanic who told me the same thing.Comment

I have same problem with my 97 Johnson 200 ocean runner
today I took the oil hose off the motor because I was trying to replace my inline fuel filter and oil spilled out the whole time till I pluged it.
where is this valve and is it something I should be worried about

Mine does not have any kind of valve but has a hole in the center of the cap on the oil tank that lets the tank vent. I cleaned mine but it did not seem to be stopped up.Comment
