I pulled the lower unit on my 1952 3 HP motor to inspect the water pump. I pulled the drive shaft out of the prop drive unit but cannot get it back together to work properly. I tried to remove the prop drive unit but cannot get the two screws to loosen that hold the cover on. Looking for suggestions.
