Have a 96 90 hp missing on one cyl. Checked compression on all cyl, 100 psi on all but the one that is missing, it is 90 psi. looked all over and cant find min comp to hit. Any ideas?

There is not really a minimum spec because all gauges will read different. You generally look for even compression across all cylinders and you don't want to see more than about 10 or 15 psi difference from high to low. 90 and 100 psi are both a little low IMO on this engine, but it should still run with these numbers. Give us more info on your "miss" does it not idle on this cylinder but pick it up at higher rpm. Or is it a skip throughout the rpm range etc...?Last edited by rfree82; 12-07-2015, 07:56 AM.
