    Johnson 25HP gear lever adjustment

    The external gear position indicator is out of sync with the actual gear position in the leg. It all works.

    But at the moment the external setting is off centre, this makes it tough to start the engine as the electric starter is not always energised.

    Anyway, can I 'just' adjust the setting in the leg somewhere, or should I pay a mechanic to sort this one ?

        Is that a 4 Stroke model, a 2 stroke model.... what year?

            Hopefully another member will be jumping in here. All of my experience (some 30+ years) has been with the 2 stroke models, sorry.
