I have a 1980 13' Whaler with a 1988 40hp Johnson. I am currently using a 3 blade 11 3/4"x 17" prop that is pretty slow out of the hole. With 2 people in the boat and a combined weight of roughly 380 pounds along with the gas tank and battery the top speed is at 34mph.I would like better hole shot performance and I'd be okay with a lower top end speed. Any suggestions on what prop would best would be greatly appreciated.
