Hi!
Engine runs great and starts every time once I get it started. PAINFUL to get it started from a cold start though.
Issue came up a few weeks ago after sitting for a month/not running it.
I had a bad screw cap that covers/holds the fuel filter in place so I replaced that cap and the filter. Old filter had some minor crud in it but I had replaced that a year ago.
Same issue.
I am wondering what the "Maintenance Port" is in the attached picture? At least that's what I see it called on the parts sites. Looks like a bicycle tire stem valve with the red lever on it.
I have been opening it up while starting the engine and that seems to help. I always run the engine with the red lever in the vertical position.
I will replace the plugs first, then .......
Also wondering if anyone has had issues with the "Primer Solenoid" assembly? I guess it helps pressurize the fuel system when starting? Not sure on that either.
Thanks!!!!!
