2001 Johnson Ocean Pro 90 HP - VRO or Oil Injected

Just bought boat with 2001 Johnson Ocean Pro 90 hp outboard. it has a remote oil tank under the console which looks like VRO.. However, I read somewhere that if motor is 2001 it is actually oil injected instead of variable rate oiling. Which is correct?

Remove the hood and inspect the engine.

If you find a large black plastic pump with 1 top fitting leading to the carburetors and 3 bottom fittings (oil, fuel, operating pressure), that's a VRO.
