Top right cylinder not firing the other five are ok. Compression good, mechanic has changed coil, power pack, timer base and stator can not find problem. Any suggesstions would help.

To eliminate a lack of communication, you say "top right".... Standing in back of the engine facing the spark plugs, Starboard would be right... Port would be left, so we're speaking of the top starboard cylinder (#1 Cylinder)?

With all those parts thrown at it, I assume that your mechanic actually ran a spark test on it? That would mean having all the spark plugs removed and incorporate a spark tester that has an adjustable gap setting which is set to 7/16" where the spark would normally be a strong blue lightning like flame.... a real SNAP!?

Do you have this strong blue spark that will jump a 7/16" gap on all cylinders excepting that #1 cylinder?

My questions are aimed at making absolutely sure that the #1 cylinder isn't firing due to a lack of ignition.... rather than a possible lack of fuel.
